It’s already second week of lazy mornings:) You don’t need to cook by yourself :)) Yeahhh, I’m enjoying 🙂
Today we were in a classical small American cafe, that is serving breakfasts only:)
It was really delicious! But you will ask, what about the prices? Here you are: 28,42 $ for omelet with extra fruits, waffle with extra fruits, coffee and juice.
One more thing I like in American bill(oh,sorry they never say bill – it’s a check :)) it’s already written for you how many you need to stay for tips(of cause if you wanna)
Our plan for today is to see what Death Valley looks like! Let’s cross it!! Let’s start our today’s journey!
Here are some shots I’ve taken on our way. I like these train tunnels through mountains!
At one moment it was a felling that these field with wind turbines will never end. Find a horse on the picture:)
I need a photo with yucca palmor so called Joshua tree!! They picked the name Joshua because the trees seemed to be extending their arms up to the heavens in pray. So, yeahh, we specially stopped to make this shot for my personal collection:)
We did one more stop to rest a bit and look at these rocks! They are painted, look like fish heads rise from a desert 🙂 Fish in a desert 🙂 Ha-ha:)
Here we started to realize that we are reaching the hottest and dries places. Look at these plants 🙂 It’s probably some kind of cactus or something like it.
One more thing I need to say is that the roads in a valley is PERFECT!!
Yaaahooo! We officially are in the Death Valley national park!!
We are lucky to see animal in a desert!!
What this jackal is eating/drinking… here. NO ideas, but he survives somehow! Remember, that you are not allowed to feed wild animals! Keep the wild life – wild!
Some more miles and here is a ranger station, here we paid fee:) For one vehicle for 1-7 days is 25 $/ for bikes – 20$
Here are small shops/saloons, restaurants and gas station.
Hence enjoy civilization before you face to face desert!
Buy some extra water bottles because it is almost 100 F outside:)! The lowest elevation in North America resides in Death Valley and holds the world record for the highest measured air temperature.
Some great views in valley…
There are green places right in the middle of desert:) You can refuel and rest a bit in a small oasis 🙂
So, what about interesting places to visit!? Here was one on our way, if you like hiking you are welcome to Golden Canyon trail.
In heart of Death Valley national park is the lowest point in North America – Badwater basin!
Andrew as always is curious and read all info signs 🙂 The area was named Badwater because a traveler was coming through and saw that there was water for his mule to drink; however because the water is so full of salt the animal refused to drink it and thus he marked the area on his map Badwater. That’s how the name was born.
Take a curve on a one lane road so called artists drive. It’s a winding road with beautiful scenery all around.
Really cool road to take tons of pictures:)! Each curve offered another view of the multi-colored rocks. Amazing spot along Artist’s Drive with an abundance of colors is Artist’s palette. So many colors, so amazing view! Like really somebody painted the mountains:)
My favorite place in Death Valley is Zabriski Point! Very easy accessible from the main road. There are rest rooms on the parking place. Landscape is so amazing! Feeling myself like on another planet! 🙂
The black spots on top the hills is real lava which erupted here thousands years ago. And kisses!!! 🙂
Despite Valley’s morbid name, a great variety of life managed to survive here. We were lucky and had an opportunity to see and take a shot of 1 small plant with flowers here!!!
We had a beautiful day and even enjoyed incredible sunset here. Death valley is place to visit and to see on this planet!!!
After 2 hours drive we reached one more beautiful place to be and to see!
Where my favorite cocktail is called not Sex on the beach, but Sex of the Strip:) Yaaahh baby, we are in Las Vegas!
Let’s walk along the Strip. Put on your walking shoes and get some great hike and entertainment. Be aware that the Strip stretches 3-5 miles one way depending upon how far you walk it 😉
The action is never ends on the Strip. Las Vegas is a must visit place!! Will we handle it?Late nights, walking, dancing, drinking, gambling? We’ll see! We’ll try our best!
Today will walk around. The strip is a street where all the hotels and casinos are alocated.
Small Venice in Las Vegas:)
Wanna sin or may be two? This city just push you to do something outside of your normal boundaries:)
Enjoy this city!!
Las Vegas is a city of plenty attractions
One of it is to see this majestic city from the High Roller. It will take you on a wonderful journey into the Las Vegas sky and then right back down while you take pictures of the strip:) The ride lasts about 30 minutes and you can even take a cocktail with you 🙂
Going through all the different hotels, it’s really cool! We’ve met real flamingos in Flamingo hotel 🙂
A plenty of bars and cocktails….
The fountains at Bellagio . The show is free, maybe that is why it is so popular. We missed it today, to late 🙂 Will see it tomorrow 😉 let’s move ahead..
The Eiffel Tower at Paris Las Vegas. You can ride to the top or eat in the middle or just stand at the bottom and look up.
Enough for today, we are tired a bit 🙂
Tomorrow will be new day and new emotions:)
See you tomorrow 🙂
The journey to be continued…
