Today we are ready for new adventures! We are not at the super duper touristic place, cause it’s not our first time on Crete 😉
We are in small village Margarites. It’s only 30 min to go here from Bali!
It’s well known for its pottery! Margarites is one of Crete’s four main pottery centers, here the tradition of pottery making goes back many generations.
Here you can find hundreds of pottery shops! Paradise for two obsessed girls 🙂 Lucky we :))
Here are a lot of pottery studios :)) Everyone can find something unique for himself.
Let’s stroll around this very charming village. I really like that there are a lot of art work just on a streets, not in a shops:)
You can find here very lovely narrow winding streets,
but they are so different, explore them all, of cause if you have some spare time 😉
A lot of pomegranate trees on our way. Just grab and enjoy
It’s always a good idea to share it with a friend 🙂 just find some nice exemplars on the ground 🙂
Continuing to stroll around the village, so many pottery shops and studios to explore.
While girls are shopping, guys are trying to earn few credits for evening beer on nanny shift :))
What you can find in shops? Whatever you can imagine 🙂 from something so classic to modern and all products are so good-quality!
and staff is so friendly 🙂
If you ever find attend Crete, check out this lovely village! You can even take a pottery class here if you want!
Today we have our lunch in a very special and unique place with classical Greek warm hospitality 🙂
So cool! You can enjoy famous springs of Argyroupolis and very tasty lunch at the same time!
Even little one is so excited about this place! Don’t miss it if you are on Crete! The power of these waterfalls previously operated 11 different mills that are no longer exist.
The springs of Argyroupolis are one of the highlights of the area. Numerous small waterfalls dominate the village, shaded by ancient plane trees. Juts walk around and you will find these gems! You can find Roman and Venetian buildings remains around and in a village.
We decided to have our dinner in Rethimno but we saw a very nice beach on our way, so we decided to stop and refresh for a bit.
Small and cosy beach with a cafe and perfect water!
What can be better for this little one in September? 🙂
We’ve reached Rethimno in the evening, let’s walk around a bit and enjoy this old town charm!
Very pleasant evening stroll along the colorful Venetian Harbor.
There are a lot of places to taste local cousin, just chose one and enjoy! That’s all for today!
Tomorrow will be new day and new emotions:)
See you tomorrow 🙂
Don’t sit at home. Travel! Travel with me! 🙂 Meaww!
