When Andrejs is staying at home and I have no companion there is always an option on the board (WizzAir) – you can buy small friend, a teddy bear). But hopefully my friends are already in Barcelona, I’ll have a good time there!
So when after landing – the first question is how you can get to the city center? Its always a lot of different ways but today I choose one of the cheapest – public transport. I’ll go by bus. Just go out and there is a bus stop in front of airport. TMB bus Number 46 from Barcelona airport to Barcelona city center – Plaça Espanya. One way ticket costs 2,15 euro. I have only my backpack – so it suits me really nice. 🙂
If you have more luggage to carry – you can use special express bus (Aerobus). It is more expensive (5,90 euro) than the normal Barcelona TMB bus, however it has more space for luggage and it is more frequent.
It’s take about 40-45 min to get to Plaça Espanya. So here I am. I know that my friend will meet me at Plaça de Catalunya. I have more than 40 min, so I decide to walk this time. I really advice you to buy so called “T-10” public transport card (9.95 euro for one zone). You can use it 10 times, but remember that 1 ride max duration is 75 min. You are able to pay with single for multiple persons during same ride.

I had an evening flight, right after work. So it’s getting late and it’s time to go to my hotel and sleep for a bit. I’ll have a some work to do in the morning and a bit of leisure in the afternoon:) A shot for Andrejs before bed time. Just to prove that we are safe with my new friend. 🙂
