You know, we are a travelling quite a lot and sometimes as years passes I can’t recall cities visited. But such remarkable nature wonders as Grand Canyon, Sequoya Forest of 3000 year old olive tree are stuck in my memories. :)))

That’s why we are here! This tree is so unique! It will stay in my mind forever, for sure!!!

How many people can say they’ve touched the oldest olive tree in the world? Can you even imagine? This tree was an eyewitness of glory and ruins of Roman Empire, dark times of Middle Ages, dozen of new cultures and religions dawn and dusk. Nevertheless, is still bringing crops. A mind is too tiny to acknowledge that.

On our way back we visited Komolithi (sand dunes).

They are special dunes consisting of soft clay that over time has acquired these wonderful conic shapes due to erosion.

This place isn’t signed and hasn’t special managed access, but you can easily walk here and see it from the road. No special parking places 😦

Very unique place, would assume that it might disappear in 20-30 years.
