Today we are going to catch few spectacular and fascinating views!
We are ready to explore Byzantine castle – Angelokastro, which is located on the top of a steep cliff. By the way, it was a strategic vantage point in times of invasion. The castle never fell, despite frequent sieges and attempts at conquering it through the centuries!
To get here you’ll need to climb a bit:) It took us about 10-15 minutes. Look how far is parking place!
Dress practically and wear comfortable shoes. The climb worth it 100%. The views around are so stunning!
Be careful, especially if you taking children with you 🙂 Here are many unprotected cliff faces that would pose a danger.
Land and sea views are incredible!
The ruins are marvelous + you get the most amazing views of the surrounding area.
It’s a very magical location. There is a small entrance fee and super cosy cafe nearby with the views of a castle. Definitely recommended!
After a long walk we need to rest a bit:) and what can be better than a boat trip? :)) We came to Agia Triada. It’s the first beach that you find when you get in Paleokastritsa. It’s pretty small, but clean and with white sand!
We came here to rent a small and pleasant boat tour to explore the coastline!
and we had an opportunity to look underwater! It was cool small journey 🙂 It’s always a good idea for us to take a boat trip:) we really like them!
After a long day of exploring we came to a great and very lovely little beach on the northern end of the island. Here is quite famous Canal d’Amour or so called Love Canal. Locals say that any couples who swim through together will soon get married:)
The rock formations around this area are very unique + spectacular views towards the sea. It’s the perfect place to spend the afternoon and enjoy the sunset. Here are plenty of bars to get a long drink and food nearby.
