New day, new emotions!
Today we are leaving Italy, but we still have some plans 🙂
Milan is not all about fashion 🙂
We start on Piazza del Duomo. It is Milan’s grandest square, filled with tourists and pigeons! The best place to take a photo with city’s largest Gothic cathedral.
Just to ascend, go in or take a guided tour… a lot of variants what you can do 🙂 check tickets here… official web
We took a lift up, 70 meters above the ground and here we are, enjoying amazing city views on rooftop terrace!
The roof is topped by 135 delicately carved stone pinnacles and the exterior is decorated with 2,245 marble statues. So a lot to see and wonder about!:)
Roof terrace is so impressive! I can image a sunset from up there! Don’t miss to visit it!
Right next to Piazza del Duomo is Galleria Vittorio Emanuele – Italy’s oldest shopping mall. Once it was the largest shopping arcade in Europe.
It is lined with restaurants, elegant cafes and high-end boutiques, such as Prada, Gucci, Louis Vuitton… So vibrant place!
Wanna be lucky?
There is a bull on the floor’s mosaic and tradition says, that you have to put your heel on the bull’s balls and spin three times for a luck :)!
Do you know, that there is a castle in Milan?
Milan castle dates back to the 15th century and nowadays you can stroll around the old walls and towers. In front of main door you will see a beautiful fountain! Walk in the main door and look how wonderful and big the place is.
Today it is the home of museums, multiple art collections and historical exhibitions.
Visiting the castle garden is free, you only need to pay to visit the expositions.
It was a perfect trip, probably not the last one to Italy!
Tomorrow will be new day and new emotions:)
Don’t sit at home. Travel! Travel with me! 🙂 Meaww!
