We started our journey from Riga to Lithuania. We made 1st stop in Bauska (Latvia) to shoot a photo and rest our bottom for 5 min
1st stop in Lithuania was small cafe “Pakelės Užeiga” near the Latvian/Lithuanian border.
Nice and cosy place to eat fried dumplings with soup 🙂 more Russian cousin than Lithuanian one 🙂 but they have a plenty of different classical Lithuanian ceppelini 🙂 too. But we decided to have them later. 🙂
So now we have some kcal to move further and we are heading to our next stop – Vilnius.
We stoped in a pretty big hotel about 10-15 min from city center. I advice you to use Taxify (local uber) taxi. It is a mobile application you can install using hotel WiFi. No need to register credit card. It’s really cheep – about 5 euro to get to the city center.
Vilnus is wonderful and clean city, with lot of tourists 🙂 You can just walk and enjoy it without any plan.
But I always have a small plan, so first of all we need some luck. All you need to get some is just to rub a lucky belly 🙂
In the heart of the city is a cathedral
and a Gediminas Castle tower
As you remember, we still are looking for traditional food. Taxify taxi driver was very friendly and recommended us to visit a place “Bernelių užeiga Vilniuje” with vast variety of different ceppelins 🙂
After the diner stomachs are round like huge watermelons. But the will to explore is stronger, therefore we are moving on through the city 🙂
If you wanna some snacks, there are legendary cheese shops (I”m even buying it in my country), really advice to taste.
Or you can have some burgers:)
If you wanna a real drama-you can visit drama theater 🙂
And yeah, we are a bit crazy about geocaching (Blow you mind here in case you have no idea what that is) Here are some shoots I took on our way:

Everyone will find something for himself
This evening we visited 2 more places – first one was street with constitution of the republic of Uzupis, we even find translation in Latvian:) It’s kinda local Montmartre.
Visited famous angel of Uzupis bohema region.
Of cause if I see a cat, I can’t pass it 🙂 here you are drunk Uzupis cat:)
Its getting late 🙂 one more cat for today and lets sleep for a bit ! A monument is located in front of Jewish center of culture
