It is amazing. Just walk in tasting room, feel lost for a moment, than sommelier will ask about your preferences. Get your first sip. Enjoy. Get another wine…… Listen about wines, learn something new:)!

You can try as many wine as you want! We tried 5 ) Enough at noon:)

It’s time to move…hours in a car crossing wonderful landscapes

I’m still enjoying this amazing tracks! Did you know that track’s drivers are really social and friendly? If you show a special sign, they will smile you back and say hello to you with a superloud beeeeep! More like BOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!

We are heading to Sequoia national Park. Remember to fill your tank before you go to national parks, because you won’t find gas station there 🙂

We are heading to, so called, giant forest and need to go up to the hill. Hence the views on our road are so nice!

DSC_3243

Wonderful and incredible nature

DSC_3247

We knew that we will need to pay to go in national park, but we could not understand where is a place! Don’t panic! You will find this place on your road! 100% 🙂 As one old couple told us on a way to the park: “This country is very much serious about to take you money! If you have to pay you will not miss the place.”

A car ticket is 30$. You need to carry this ticket on you windshield. You receive map and booklets/newspaper to understand the rules and other useful information in it!

There is a driving speed limit of average 25 mph or less almost everywhere. It takes a while to reach main park point.

DSC_3264

The giant redwood trees are one of the area’s most exciting features.

DSC_3286

Feel yourself really an insect!! Touch these nature’s peace of art! The oldest and tallest trees! Giant forest!!! Breathtaking! No worlds to describe that feeling!! This pink spot on a photo is me:))

This is definitely must see place!! Inspiration everywhere you look or walk!!

The Giant Forest is an area with a high concentration of giant Sequoias. Even on our back road we are still enjoying them!! it is really a “forest” of these giants, not like several of them as we expected beforehand.

You’ll observe astonishing views on your way!

We stopped near the Tunnel Rock for some photos!

Today we also had a wonderful sunset in mountains

We stopped in a small city Exeter for a dinner and it was awesome! Small cafe, quite ugly from outside. But with superb food inside! Highly recommend!

Small but atmospheric place to rest!

In one hour we reached our destination point ! Bekersfield!

One more thing I like in America is neon signs! Bakersfield has a lot of vintage neon signs, but probably most famous and iconic for this city is Guthrie’s Alley Cat!

So we decided to visit it! It’s art! This sign is older (77 years) than the bar’s owner 🙂 Great mustard-yellow and ketchup-red!! The lighted black cat tells you its a perfect place to have a drink!

Cool cocktails, nice music, friendly bartenders. This place has really perfect drive!!! The best place to finish this great day!

See you tomorrow 🙂

The journey to be continued…
